I'm going to do my absolute best to include all of the triggers for each book. None of my books are too dark in their content, but I have several characters with varying degrees of traumatic backgrounds. And of course each series is different, so there will be more triggers in the Sin series (romantic suspense) then you'll find in the Sleet series (hockey romcom).

If you read one of my books and see something that should be listed on this page but isn't, please let me know.

And please keep in mind that the over-the-top possessive behavior of my male characters is fun and hot and stupid attractive in books. But in real life those red flags are RED for a reason. So be safe.

  • This is an adult dark mafia romance. There is graphic on page violence, death, and kidnapping. There is on page past emotional trauma and physical abuse. There are instances of dubious consent and extreme stalker tendencies. As well as a man who is basically a walking red flag. Please proceed well-informed and with caution.

  • There’s no need for stalking when you go straight to kidnapping… This book contains graphic, sometimes gory, violent death. Kidnapping, blackmail, and forced imprisonment. A woman getting married against her will. Some dubious consent. Discussions of human trafficking. And overall, lots of bad behavior. Just like Nero, King is a red flag all the way to his bones. So please, as always, be well-informed and proceed with caution.

    Dom is a dark mafia romance. It contains graphic on-page death and extreme violence. There is a brief mention of human trafficking. There are scenes with parental abuse — pinching and emotional abuse — and discussion of parental suicide. The main female character is plus size and has moments of negative body image and negative self-talk. There are moments of dubious consent between the main characters. The main male character drugs the main female character… twice. There are tattoos without consent. And there is tampering with birth control. Please proceed well-informed and with caution.   • This is a dark vigilante romance.

    It contains a lot of graphic violence and death. There is stalking, breaking and entering, and surveillance.

    This book deals with human trafficking. There are no first-person POVs of any trafficking victims, but you will see firsthand the trauma it leaves behind.

    This book also contains death of parents, death of a sibling, and the torment of wishing you’d done more.
